Testimonials

Marshall

My husband Marshall suffered a stroke four years ago caused by untreated sleep apnea and high blood pressure. After working with several physical therapists and seeing little improvement, we decided to try Tai Chi to help with his mobility, balance, and circulation.

That's when we met Scott Heck. From the very first session, Marshall loved it. Scott's patience, encouragement, and dedication have made a tremendous difference in his recovery.

After nearly a year of practicing Tai Chi, Marshall is more flexible, walks better and faster, has lost weight, and is much happier. His memory and mental clarity have also improved significantly. Even the neurosurgeon we consulted recommended that he continue Tai Chi along with his medications and a healthy diet, explaining that it is excellent for blood flow, brain health, and overall well-being.

Tai Chi has truly given Marshall a new level of confidence and independence in his daily life.

Mike

I had a stroke late 2023, and lost use of my right hand and arm. Additionally, I suffered general physical degradation. My occupational and physical therapy treatments had plateaued, and were terminated.

Fortunately, I was referred to Scott as someone who would help me improve my physical limitations. In just a few short months of Tai-Chi based exercise, Scott has methodically eased me into increasing the grip pressure in my right hand and rebuilding my leg strength. His ability to put up with my constant jokes and distracted chatter during my sessions is a testament to his patience and determination.

If you are looking for an alternative to traditional exercise, Scott is your man.
